Kenya is a psalmist, poet, writer, teacher and young professional with her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, specializing in Religious Studies. She loves teaching and being able to touch the lives of young people.
She has sung back up for numerous recording artists and is a founding member and lead vocal in EBONI. EBONI was a finalist in the Southwest Region competition of the Gospel Industry Network 2022.
Kenya was nominated by the Bahamas Gospel Music Awards for: Song of the year, Mother Rachel Mackey female artist of the year, New Artist of the year, Shenique Thurston traditional Song of the year, and Mark Bethel Song of the year. She is winner of Bahamas Gospel Music Awards – Praise & Worship Song of the Year.
