Caribbean Music Camp, a TEECA project

The Trade Enhancement for the Eastern Caribbean (TEECA) project is designed to accelerate the growth of trade in the Eastern Caribbean particularly by assisting companies based in Martinique and the OECS who wish to access other markets. This project managed and led by the Chamber of Commerce of Martinique (CCIM) is co-funded by the INTERREG Caraibes programme which falls under the European Regional Development Fund. The partners for this project include the OECS, the Caribbean Export Development Agency and the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique (CTM). The project was first launched in 2018 and is scheduled to end in December 2021.

The Main Objectives of the project are to:

  • Enhance trade within the Eastern Caribbean region,
  • Address exportation challenges,
  • Boost the exportation of goods and services of companies based in Martinique and the English-speaking countries of the OECS which intend to access to other markets,
  • Connect companies within a community

One activity which stemmed from the project is the Caribbean Music Camp (CMC) which aimed to bring music professionals together under the TEECA project to develop through the sharing of artistic skills and experience. From this camp the participants produced music together, the five best of these songs were selected and music videos created to accompany this music. TEECA is bringing these songs, the artist and producer to the world. Caribbean Media Corporation is pleased to share highlights from the Camp, feature the artists and producers and more importantly share the massive Caribbean talent with the world.
